Meet the Artist: Edith Dekyndt

Edith Dekyndt lives and works in Brussels. Her work examines how history, use, and context leave their imprint on objects and architecture, revealing the narratives underlying their transformations. 

On the opening of Cristóbal Balenciaga x Edith Dekyndt. The Fabric Decides, the Belgian artist will engage in conversation with Gaspard de Massé, Director of the Balenciaga Archives, and María Inés Rodriguez, curator of the exhibition. Together, they explore the intersections between Dekyndt’s practice and the haute couture of the designer Cristóbal Balenciaga (1895–1972).
