Claire Marin is an influential French philosopher. Drawing on her personal experiences, she offers a refreshing perspective on the many facets of the human condition. Through her compelling essays such as Rupture(s), Être à sa place and Les débuts, she demonstrates the enduring importance of philosophy in a constantly evolving world.

In her latest book, Nos vies écorchées, Marin explores the intimate complexity of the human body’s surface. She develops an intimate and philosophical narrative, shedding light on how this “organ” reveals who we are and where we come from. Drawing on her experience as a mother and childhood memories, she offers a masterful tribute to human sensitivity and vulnerability. She discusses the book with RTBF-journalist Pascal Claude.
